March 31 - King Digital Entertainment is looking to fill 160 positions worldwide. It needs more people to turn out more hits like Candy Crush Saga. Fred Katayama reports.

The maker of Candy Crush is on a hiring rush. Just days after raising half a billion dollars in a weak public debut, King Digital Entertainment posted more than 160 jobs on its website. The company says it employs 665 people, so the new hires would reflect a 25 percent expansion.
King needs more people to turn out more hits, for Candy Crush Saga accounts for more than three-quarters of its sales. Its prospectus says it plans to hire "significant numbers" of personnel in engineering, development, operations, and design.
The Dublin-based company is hiring around the world ranging from Malta to Seoul, but the bulk is in Europe with more than half of it in Barcelona and Stockholm, where Candy Crush was born. Only one job available in the U.S. - a product development position in San Francisco - just one eighth of the eight openings available in Romania of all places.
What King needs now is more investors. Its stock has dropped 20 percent from its IPO price.
