***CONTAINS GRAPHIC IMAGES*** In Albuquerque, outraged locals took to the streets. They're furious with police over the shooting of a homeless man who was camping in the foothills. Many here are demanding an investigation into officers' standard operating procedures. The protest which started out peacefully took a turn as demonstrators veered from their stated route, facing off with police in full riot gear. The tense standoff ended with officers using tear gas to break up the crowd. According to the group ProgressNow, Albuquerque police have shot more individuals then the New York police despite being 1/16th of the size.
