ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)
STORY: Brazil's top names in fashion began unveiling their vision of the upcoming summer on Monday (March 31) as Sao Paulo Fashion Week kicked off in Brazil's largest city.
The biannual week-long event will feature 32 labels with some of the world's most beautiful top models - including local star Gisele Bundchen - strutting the catwalk.
Monday marked the beginning of the 37th edition of Brazil's premiere fashion event.
The show is considered to be a consistent hot spot for deal-making in a multibillion dollar industry.
Designer Tufi Duek's designs did not disappoint fans of his minimalist flair for women's dresses.
Duek's sleek retro-spacey look was fun and sexy while remaining true to the designer's roots.
Joao Pimenta, one of SPFW's only designers dedicated exclusively to menswear, presented his new collection.
The designer is largely known for finding inspiration for his men's line from women's fashions and he experiments with streetwear and tailoring.
Pimenta was hardly shy in his diverse use of fabrics.
Brazil is Latin America's biggest economy and has one of the world's fastest-growing fashion industries.
