A friendly swim in southeast Australia goes wrong. (SOUNDBITE) (English) NEW SOUTH WALES POLICE INSPECTOR JASON EDMUNDS SAYING: "They came across a shark that was 3 to 4 meters in size. They just gathered together as a group to defend themselves and made their way back to shore." Now officials in Tathra are searching for 63-year-old Christine Armstrong, who was separated from the group. (SOUNDBITE) (English) TATHRA SURF LIFE SAVING CLUB MEMBER ANDREW REDMONDS SAYING: "She's been heavily involved in the club in training and assessing of members. She's done over 300 patrol hours here at Tathra and was a regular participant in the ocean swim." (SOUNDBITE) (English) UNIDENTIFIED LOCAL RESIDENT SAYING: "Lovely people, yeah, just genuine and it's a really tragic thing that's happened." Her friends didn't see the shark attack anyone or anything but fear the worst. So far poor weather conditions have led officials to call off the search.
