A Chinese ship has picked up a pulse signal in the search for missing Malaysia Airlines flight 370. That's according to Chinese state TV reporting the news on Saturday. (SOUNDBITE) (Mandarin) ANCHOR OF CHINA'S CENTRAL TELEVISION CCTV SAYING: "Today, Chinese patrol ship Haixun 01 discovered a pulse signal with a frequency of 37.5kHz per second at 25 degrees south latitude and 101 degrees east longitude in the southern Indian Ocean with a black box locator. It is yet to determine whether the signal is related to missing flight MH370." China's official news agency also reports that a Chinese air force plane has spotted white objects floating in the designated search area in the southern Indian Ocean. No further information was given. The news comes some four weeks after the Flight 370 disappeared while en route from Honk Kong to Kuala Lumpur. 239 people were on board.
