He's one of the most recognizable stars around and has a huge cult fan following - which means the David Hasselhoff sale at Julien's Auctions should be a big one. The "Knight Rider" and "Baywatch" star previewed the items up for grabs on Monday (April 07) in Beverly Hills, which will be sold to benefit the Starlight Foundation - a global children's charity. SOUNDBITE: David Hasselhoff saying (English): "It was either put it in the attic, put it in a restaurant, or give it to somebody who really wants it, you know, and raise a little money for the Starlight Foundation, which is a great foundation." Among the most anticipated items available is a larger-than-life replica of Hasselhoff himself, that was used as a prop in "The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie." It's estimated to sell for as much as 30,000 dollars. Other fan favorites include the actor's own Harley-Davidson bike, which could fetch 15,000 dollars; an autographed rescue buoy and jacket from "Baywatch" - those are estimated for about 600 - 800 dollars each; and a Hasselhoff-themed pinball machine, expected to sell for as much as 2,000 dollars. The items will hit the auction block during Julien's Hollywood Legends sale on April 11 and 12.
