April 8 - A path of severe storms destroys homes and brings down power lines in the U.S. Southeast. Sarah Irwin reports.

From Louisiana to North Carolina, communities begin to clean up after severe storms hit the southeast. In Beaufort County, North Carolina, a tornado destroyed homes and downed power lines on Monday. SOUNDBITE (English) DEMPSY ANGE, RESIDENT, SAYING: "The most impressive thing was everything going up in the air and swirling around." Across the South, two days of harsh weather - caused flooding and dangerous conditions. In Yazoo County, Mississippi, emergency crews found the body of a nine-year-old girl who was swept away in a flash flood. And in Atlanta - creeks and rivers swelled after heavy rain. On Tuesday, the National Weather Service said more storms could be in store for parts of Florida and the Mississippi Valley.
