It's premiere day for Kevin Costner's "Draft Day."
The actor joined his co-stars on the red carpet in Los Angeles to celebrate the film's opening.
Set on the day of the National Football League draft, Costner plays the general manager for a football team that has the chance to trade for the number one pick.
On the red carpet Costner says you don't have to be a football fan to enjoy the film.
SOUNDBITE: Kevin Costner, actor, saying (English):
"You don't want to dumb something down, but you also don't have to try to blow people away with your knowledge of everything. You know it's still a movie, it's about emotions and 'Draft Day' really managed to hold its line."
Jennifer Garner stars alongside Costner and says she learned a lot about what goes on behind the scenes.
SOUNDBITE: Jennifer Garner, actress, saying (English):
"It's so odd that it's all just pegged on these young kids, you know they're being watched for Draft Day from when they're in high school really, you know. So yeah, it was super exciting to just watch how all of this work goes into it, and then in the end, it's a chess game, it's a heist movie, it's like a gut check. It's a real roller coaster ride."
"Draft Day" kicks off into U.S. theaters April 11.
