ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge started day six of their royal tour of New Zealand separately, with Catherine visiting Rainbow Place Children's Hospice in Hamilton on Saturday (April 12). Catherine, or Kate as she is more popularly known, has ties with children's hospices in the United Kingdom and will use the outing as a fact-finding mission, local media reported. Kate's clothes have become a media obssession, and local reports said she was wearing a green Erdem coat with a Suzannah dress underneath. While his wife was at the hospice, William visited local aircraft manufacturer, Pacific Aerospace. The royal couple arrived in Cambridge together to a rock star's welcome with reports saying as many as 10,000 people turned out to see them. At the Town Hall they had lunch before emerging to greet the public. Later in the day the couple joined New Zealand Prime Minister John Key and formally opened a new National Centre of Cycling Excellence, where children displayed some bike moves.
