Justin Bieber was stopped by the immigration officials and questioned for a lengthy time at Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday (April 24). The pop star underwent additional screening by the airport officials after his arrival from Japan. It's not clear why the checks was necessary or if it's connected to Bieber's recent legal troubles. Spider-Man swung into the Empire State Building in real life on Friday (April 25) along with the cast and crew of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" for a lighting ceremony that turned the iconic New York landmark in "Spidey colors," red and blue. The web slinger was accompanied by actress Emma Stone and actor Jamie Foxx at the event. "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" hits cinemas in North America on May 2. The video for Avril Lavigne's newest Japanese-inspired single "Hello Kitty" is causing a stir because of what some are claiming to be inappropriate and insensitive racially charged themes. Lavigne's video features emotionless Japanese backup dancers trailing the "complicated" pop star. Lavigne took to Twitter to address the controversy on Wednesday (April 23), writing: "RACIST??? LOLOLOL!!! I love Japanese culture and I spend half of my time in Japan. The controversy may be working for the popularity of "Hello Kitty." It has nearly three million views and counting on YouTube as of Friday (April 25), two days after its release.
