It's an emotional time for survivors in Vilonia, Arkansas, as they begin to pick up the pieces of a tornado-ravaged community. Nine people were killed in this city alone, and residents are keeping those who've lost loved ones in their thoughts. (SOUNDBITE) (English) FLORENCE SAWELL, TORNADO VICTIM, SAYING: "I just ask everybody out there, just keep all these people in prayers and pray that God will take care of them, and He will, I know that, but you know..." Heavy duty clean up operations are underway -- after two straight days of tornados hitting the southern United States. Volunteers like Matt Payne have come from all over Arkansas to help. (SOUNDBITE) (English) MATT PAYNE, MINUTEMEN DISASTER RESPONSE VOLUNTEER, SAYING: "When you talk about a tornado, it's just in a matter of moments that your whole home is missing, your belongings, your personal effects. All the memories that you have in photos and videos are scattered all over the place, so anything we can do to come out here and help people in a time of need, we want to be there for that." Vilonia is perhaps the hardest hit town in Arkansas. Twisters also tore through portions of Mississippi, ripping apart homes and businesses.
