May 5 - An attack on a NATO supply convoy in Pakistan leaves at least two people dead. Nathan Frandino reports.

A NATO supply convoy lies torched and destroyed in Pakistan. The attack in the Khyber tribal region killed at least two. One witness described the scene. (SOUNDBITE) (Urdu) WITNESS RAFI ULLAH, SAYING: "We were sitting upstairs. Suddenly the fire started and it continued for about 10 to 15 minutes. We couldn't immediately tell what had happened. We saw the trucks and NATO supplies on fire as we got downstairs and reached here." No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack. Though Pakistani Taliban have targeted NATO supply trucks in the past. The attack also wounded at least three people, who were taken to area hospitals. Pakistan is the main route to supply U.S. troops in landlocked Afghanistan.
