May 6 - The neighbor testifies in day 27 of the Oscar Pistorius murder trial in South Africa. Nathan Frandino reports.

The Oscar Pistorius murder trial returned to court Tuesday. Pistorius' closest neighbor told the court he did not hear screams on the night Pistorius shot dead girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. (SOUNDBITE) (English) DEFENCE WITNESS/ OSCAR'S NEIGHBOUR, MICHAEL NHLENGETHWA, SAYING: "One thing that I have just picked up there, but obviously other things I couldn't hear properly, it was basically the "No, please, please, No." So, those are things that I picked up and also continuing to cry as well My Lady." Pistorius is accused of killing Steenkamp deliberately in a fit of rage. The former Paralympic and Olympic sprinter says he mistook her for an intruder. The neighbor's wife also testified, telling the court she heard very loud crying. (SOUNDBITE) (English) DEFENCE LAWYER, BARRY ROUX, SAYING: "Is it possible to make the sound as to resemble it." (SOUNDBITE) (Setswana) DEFENCE WITNESS/ OSCAR'S NEIGHBOUR, MRS. NHLENGETHWA, SAYING: "(Crying)....but in a voice of a man." If convicted, Pistorius faces life in prison.
