ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)
STORY: Some of Hollywood's hottest duos heated up the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute annual gala in New York on Monday (May 5).
Regulars Beyonce and Jay Z, both dressed in Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci, shared a tender moment as the rapper slipped a ring back on his wife's finger after it fell off while posing for pictures.
British pair David and Victoria Beckman were greeted with shouts from fans as they arrived dressed in white.
Vogue magazine's recent cover models, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West also turned the evening into date night.
Designer Stella McCartney mixed business with pleasure as she took time to pose with husband Alasdhair Willis and a bevy of superstar beauties all wearing her designs.
Oscar winner and red carpet darling Lupita Nyong'o sparkled in green Prada.
Singer Kylie Minogue, who attended the gala with designers Marchesa and actress Katie Holmes, felt right at home in the middle of all the fashionistas.
This year the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute is celebrating the work of designer Charles James.
James, who was born in London, studied in Paris and eventually settled in New York, is known as an inventor in the fashion world.
The exhibition will be housed in the new Anna Wintour Costume Center.
