Steven Spielberg presented U.S. President Barack Obama with the USC Shoah Foundation's annual "Ambassador for Humanity" award at a celebrity-packed reception in Los Angeles. Following the presentation, attendees were treated to a performance by Bruce Springsteen. Lindsay Lohan hit the red carpet in London for a fundraiser staged by Gabrielle's Angel Foundation. The actress posed for photos on her way into the event, which raised money for blood cancer research. Jennifer Lawrence gave an interview to Marie Claire saying that she knows she won't be America's sweetheart forever, and that it may be only a matter of time until people turn against her. She told the magazine, "if people want to start the backlash, I'm the captain of that team. As much as you hate me, I'm 10 steps ahead of you." Will Ferrell is lending his talents to bring The Flintstones back to the big screen. According to Variety, Ferrell will help write the script for the animated film, which will be based on the hit cartoon series of the 1960s.
