Stars from far and wide came out to support Gabrielle's Gala - a fundraiser staged by Gabrielle's Angel Foundation in London.
The UK organization which raises money for cancer research, was co-founded in the US by songwriter and philanthropist Denise Rich.
SOUNDBITE: Denise Rich, Charity co-founder, saying (English):
"My daughter Gabrielle, unfortunately she passed away from leukaemia, she was 27 years old, an Oxford graduate, she had lived in London, and so her sisters decided that they wanted to do something in London and it's our third year, because we've been doing it for 18 years in America and we're one of the largest sources of non-governmental funding for blood cancer research in America."
Singer Rita Ora provided the night's entertainment - as she debuted her new song co-written with boyfriend Calvin Harris.
SOUNDBITE: Rita Ora, singer, saying (English):
"Well I thought it was a really bad idea but it actually turned out to be one of the best ideas ever, you know, it's a difference with feeling so open and free with somebody and then actually making it work, so it was that. And again, it's the truth and it's honest so that's all I wanted to give people, honesty, so yeah."
Controversial actress Lindsay Lohan also made a fleeting appearance on the red carpet, alongside a host of other celebrities.
