May 10 - A self-taught jazz piano prodigy from Indonesia, age 10, plays his first shows in the U.S. after wowing audiences around the world. Vanessa Johnston reports.

10-year-old Joey Alexander is taking the jazz world by storm. The self-taught piano prodigy from Jakarta, Indonesia, has played all over the world. SOUNDBITE (English) PIANO PRODIGY JOEY ALEXANDER SAYING: "I hear a song, I try and play and read notes." It all started at the age of six when his father brought home a keyboard. SOUNDBITE (English) JOEY'S FATHER, DENNY SILA, SAYING: "When I got back from work, I saw him playing a very complex melody." He recently made his U.S. debut in New York City, which included a show at Lincoln Center. SOUNDBITE (English) PIANO PRODIGY JOEY ALEXANDER SAYING: "It makes me excited, my opportunity, my chance, I always give my best." Joey is currently working on his first album.
