Soldiers return home just in time for Mother's Day

May 11 - Families in Fort Carson, Colorado, cheer the homecoming of around 40 soldiers from Afghanistan on the eve of Mother's Day. Vanessa Johnston reports.

Soldiers in Fort Carson, Colorado, returned home from Afghanistan Saturday night - just in time for Mother's Day.
Some 40 families cheered their arrival.
Husbands and wives embraced for the first time in nine months.
And children excitedly jumped into the arms of their moms and dads.
Wes and Audrey Klatt are relieved to have their family together again.
SOUNDBITE (English) RETURNING SOLDIER, WES KLATT, SAYING:
"It's unreal, I've been gone forever it feels like."
SOUNDBITE (English) WIFE OF RETURNING SOLDIER, AUDREY KLATT, SAYING:
"It's wonderful. It's going to be a nice break, that's for sure!"
And for these soldier's mothers, it will be a very happy Mother's Day.
