After 40 years it's still business as usual for Blondie. The rock duo made up of Debbie Harry and Chris Stein is marking their anniversary with a new double-disc album, "Blonide 4(0) Ever." The New York band first came on the scene in the late 1970's and introduced the world to punk music with hits like "Call Me" and "The Tide is High." And Stein says after 4 decades hearing the old music still gives him a jolt. SOUNDBITE: Chris Stein, Blondie, saying (English): "Sometimes I can get an emotional charge it depends on what it is. Sometimes I'll see a song in a film or something like that, you know." The band's new release will include their greatest hits, as well as 13 new tracks which includes the lead single "Sugar on the Side." SOUNDBITE: Debbie Harry, Blondie, saying (English): "I think that the biggest thing for me about this collection is that there is so many people that have contributed. And, you know, that's a little bit unusual for a Blondie album." With an arsenal of hits and awards under their belt, Harry and Stein say the real reward comes from the fans. SOUNDBITE: Chris Stein, Blondie, saying (English): "The biggest compliment I think we get is when some kid comes up and goes, 'I was having such a hard time in high school and your music helped me through." SOUNDBITE: Debbie Harry, Blondie, saying (English): "Yeah, that's always very nice." "Blondie 4(0) Ever" will be released on May 13.
