Last minute preparations are underway as Cannes prepares for its twelve day film festival. The red carpet is already in front of the Palais des Festivals, where some of the world's biggest movie stars will turn heads before attending official screenings. And fans aren't wasting any time ... they're outise too - competing for a spot catch a glimpse of all the glitz. SOUNDBITE: jean-Marc Stahl, festival fan, saying (French): "(I'm here) to get close to the artists. If you see where we are, the officials are stopping just in front of us, just as you are, and we're also here for pictures, autographs, etc." For those who don't want to wait, taking in the atmosphere is exciting enough. SOUNDBITE: Mary Hudson, Canadian tourist, saying (English): "I'm not looking for anybody, nobody in particular, just come for the excitement." The 67th Cannes Film Festival kicks off on May 14 with the world premiere of 'Grace of Monaco', starring Nicole Kidman and Tim Roth.
