It's party time at the Museum of Modern Art. Brits Daniel Craig and Steve McQueen were honored alongside art advocate Maja Oeri at MoMA's annual party in the Garden. Craig says receiving the honor, which recognizes commitments to the arts, came as a shock. SOUNDBITE: Daniel Craig, actor, saying (English): "I'm a bit perplexed but I am very happy about it. It's a real honor. Anything that keeps the museum open I'm very happy about." When McQueen learned about the honor it immediately took him back to his childhood. SOUNDBITE: Steve McQueen, director, saying (English): "The first time I actually came to the museum. Which was sometime when I was 7-years-old in like '77. It was sort of flashbacks. Seeing 'Shadows' by John Cassavetes. And the guys running around in the garden. I think, my goodness, now I can run around the garden and it won't be illegal." In the fall the film maker will go back to his art roots when he opens an exhibition in London. When asked for a preview he decided to remain tight-lipped saying. SOUNDBITE: Steve McQueen, director, saying (English): "Nope, just you know, working away, working away." Also in the fall Craig will return to his James Bond role and revealed he is currently working on the final touches. SOUNDBITE: Daniel Craig, actor, saying (English): "You try and get the script right and you get fit. That's all I'm doing at the moment." Fashion designer Vera Wang, and actresses Ellen Barkin and Maggie Gyllenhaal were among the guests.
