May 16 - A 31-year-old woman is taken into police custody after posing for months as a Texas high school student. Vanessa Johnston reports.

A 31-year-old woman has been arrested for posing as a teenage student at a Texas high school. Charity Johnson enrolled in October as a sophomore at New Life Christian School using the name "Charite Stevens". Her ID said she was 15-years-old. A woman named Tamica Lincoln enrolled Johnson in the school and met her teachers. Lincoln says she took Johnson in after she claimed to be a teenage orphan from an abusive household. SOUNDBITE (English) TAMICA LINCOLN, WHO TOOK CHARITY IN, SAYING: "She gave me the same story about being abused by her biological father, then he passed away, and her biological mother's dead. I sympathize with her and invite her into my home." But after several months, Tamica began to feel suspicious of Johnson's story and alerted police. SOUNDBITE (English) TAMICA LINCOLN, WHO TOOK CHARITY IN, SAYING: "I just don't know why she did it. Why put yourself and others at risk to do something like this." Johnson was charged with failure to identify and giving false information. Her bond was set at $500.
