Hepatitis A scare in Springfield, Missouri

May 23 - Health officials say nearly five thousand people may have been exposed to Hepatitis A, after a Red Robin restaurant in Springfield, Missouri reports an employee had the disease. Jillian Kitchener reports.

Hepatitis A shots are being offered for up to 5,000 people in Springfield, Missouri. This, after fast food joint Red Robin reported that one of their workers had the disease. Health officials say people who visited the restaurant between May 8 and May 16 could have been exposed. Hepatitis A is a viral liver disease that can cause mild to severe illness. And this crowd is not taking chances -- patiently waiting in line for the immunization.
