Three men are missing after a massive mudslide hit a remote area near the Grand Mesa National Forest in Colorado. Authorities say the men had gone to the area a day before to investigate damage to irrigation canals struck by an earlier, smaller rockslide. Then the larger mudslide hit... Mesa County Sheriff Stan Hilkey. (SOUNDBITE) (English) MESA COUNTY SHERIFF STAN HILKEY SAYING: "The slide. It's an understatement to say that it is massive. It's at least two-and-a-half to three miles long, if not longer, and a half a mile wide or more in certain areas, and it's incredibly deep and full of debris." The missing men included a county public works employee, his son, and a third man, whose identities have not been released. The area has no cellphone service, and is difficult to access. A drone with heat-seeking technology is being used in the search mission.
