One down, two to go. Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt began a three-city trek to promote their new film "Edge of Tomorrow". Cruise and his fellow cast will leave the London premiere on May 28th to jet across the English Channel for a lunchtime premiere in the French capital before arriving in New York in the evening. But for Cruise, nothing is mission impossible. SOUNDBITE: Tom Cruise, actor, saying: "When you think about it, you work on, you talk about it, you know I make my movies for the audiences and I'm looking forward to them seeing it now. We're going to have some fun today." Cruise's latest action installment sees him in a suicide mission, battling aliens. After dying within minutes of the fight, Cruise is thrown into a time loop which forces him to live out the same brutal combat over and over. REPORTER: "You've saved the world countless times now." SOUNDBITE: Tom Cruise, actor, saying: "I'm trying." Not normally known for action movies, Blunt says choosing this role "was a good fit". SOUNDBITE: Emily Blunt, actress, saying (English): "It really was the story and the characters. I had always wanted to do the action genre but I hadn't really found the right fit for me. I think usually in action movies there's the girlfriend role and I don't really want to play that and so I was really wanting to do action and action movies and this was really like the deep end of action so I'd been wanting to do it. This wasn't really a strategy of mine, it just happened to be a good fit." "Edge of Tomorrow" will be released on May 30.
