May 29 - Hidden cash scavenger hunt that has captivated San Francisco moves to Southern California. Jennifer Davis reports.

(SOUNDBITE) UNKNOWN MAN SAYING: "I looked out my window and saw hundreds of people with flash lights in the park last night." They were taking part in a viral scavenger hunt for cash - started by this man known as Hidden Cash. He started the searches in San Francisco but brought the game a to LA during a visit. Though he wants to remain anonymous, he will show off how he takes pictures of drop locations and tweets out clues. (SOUNDBITE) ANONYMOUS MAN SAYING: "Initially this was a small SF story and it's just gone global worldwide. It's great timing that I'm going to be in LA for the next few days and I want to do some drops here and get the city excited about finding money and the idea of giving back." Many people who luck into finding the cash, abide by the request to pay it forward. (SOUNDBITE) KEN DELLINGER, CASH FINDER SAYING: "I gave the 50 away so I kept the $200 and I'll probably give some more away too." Mr. Hidden Cash has tweeted there's no ulterior motive to his plan. He says it's just fun to be generous and inspire others to follow suit.
