Outside a Las Vegas pizza parlor Monday night...music, to remember the three victims of a shooting rampage.
Hundreds came to honor the two slain police officers shot at point blank range while having lunch at this pizza counter on Sunday.
Police say their killers were Jerad and Amanda Miller, a married couple with anti-government and white supremacist ideologies.
They reportedly threw a swastika on the body of one of the officers they gunned down.
SOUNDBITE: METRO POLICE CAPTAIN RICH FLETCHER SAYING:
"This is a total ambush. I don't know how else to explain it. I knew both of these men, they were great cops and great family guys. How do you describe a broken heart?"
Also killed was a 31-year-old bystander who tried to confront the Millers when they fled to the Wal-Mart next door.
Police exchanged gunfire with the Millers inside the store, and the couple died in what may have been a suicide pact.
Inside the Miller's apartment, local media say police found papers detailing a plan to take over a court house and execute public officials.
Their roommate says Jared Miller told her he was going out to kill cops.
SOUNDBITE: MILLERS' ROOMMATE, KELLY FIELDER, SAYING:
"He said that, the morning that he left, that's when he told me, but I didn't know that he was actually gonna do it. I thought he was talking out of the side of his neck, you know, talking smack. I should have notified the authorities. I should have."
Investigators are looking into possible ties between the Millers and right-wing extremist groups.
Meanwhile, police are preparing the funerals for the slain officers and a community in mourning prepares to say good bye.
