Soccer fans will be spellbound at the start of the World Cup. And the self-proclaimed Grand Warlock of Mexico is doing what he can to make sure the games are prosperous for his country. (SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) GRAND WARLOCK, ANTONIO VAZQUEZ SAYING: "We completely blocked the team of Cameroon so that they can't do any damage with their sorcery and rituals. We completely blocked them but we want them to play football and we want Mexico to play football too." Sorcery has been used in past games, and according to this warlock, has stopped powerhouse Argentina. (SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) GRAND WARLOCK, ANTONIO VAZQUEZ SAYING: "What's happening with Argentina? Sorcery has widely been used since 1986. They have a mark which has prevented them from winning -- yet football is everything to Argentina. They are sealed by themselves I don't think Argentina will reach the final. Maybe they will reach the last four, but only that far." Mexico has failed to live up to expectations at the World Cup in the past. But if these rituals are done with the right gusto, who knows what can happen this year.
