A woman shouts "our beauty has come to us," as Kiev's new mayor, Vitaly Klitschko, takes a stroll in an open air market.
He samples the wares as eager fans follow the former heavyweight champ.
The boxer turned politician is learning the political ropes -- admiring babies and listening to citizen's concerns.
In his drive to clean up the streets of Kiev, he also inspected the licensing documents for many of the stalls.
His role largely ceremonial -- with Ukraine's new leadership tackling the crisis in the east -- but he is not expected to pull any punches when it comes to his "zero tolerance" for corruption.
