ROUGH CUT (NO NARRATION) Technicolour wide-rimmed hats dominated Burberry Prorsum's latest menswear offering for Spring/Summer 2015. The heritage brand's catwalk on June 17, which featured classic trench coats as well as other coats and accessories in a range of hues from saffron yellow, orange red, copper and storm blue, was inspired by novelist and writer Bruce Chatwin, according to a Burberry press release. The collection, entitled 'Book Covers and Bruce Chatwin', featured garments made from cotton, silk, cashmere, linen, printed leather and felt, and some of the models clutched leather notebooks with book cover prints. Models took to runway as singer and songwriter Benjamin Clementine played a live piano performance. The show, on the final day of a three day London Collections: Men event in the capital, was attended by VIP guests including actor Tom Felton and model Jourdan Dunn. Felton praised Burberry for its unique and iconic style. The British luxury brand has reportedly seen profit rises since Christopher Bailey took on the position of chief executive earlier this year. He currently holds a dual role of chief creative and chief executive officer. In May it was reported that the 158-year-old firm, known for its camel, red and black check pattern, met forecasts with an 8 per cent rise in annual profit.
