Another World Cup upset.
A surprise 1-0 win for Costa Rica against Italy in the 2014 football tournament.
Costa Rica fans who saw the match in Brazil celebrated as their team made it two wins out of two.
(SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) COSTA RICA FAN FROM PUNTA ARENAS, JORGE ACEVEDO, SAYING:
"This team proves it is truly a global team that stands well, everyone was well coordinated with what they had to do and the counter attack. It was enough to get one goal and put us in first place."
The Costa Rica team will go through to the knockout stages for just the second time in its history.
(SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) COSTA RICA FAN, JOSE GONZALES, SAYING:
"It seems we have been playing well, we were supposed to be the Cinderellas of the group, that we were not the champions, and we have been given a surprise to reach first place in the group."
Thousands of fans gathered outside in the Costa Rican capital to watch the game were ecstatic with the result.
(SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) COSTA RICAN FAN, MARIA ESTHER GONZALEZ, SAYING:
"Yes, I had lots of faith in our team. Since their match on Saturday, I said that they were going to win 3-1. Today I hoped for more than one goal but one was enough."
As delerious Costa Rica fans danced in the sunshine, it's a major disappointment for the England fans who were relying on Italy to keep them in the game.
Instead England is out and Italy's future in doubt.
