ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)
Before attending a "White House Summit on Working Families Monday," President Barack Obama stopped by a local Washington Chipotle restaurant to meet with working parents.
"At this table, what you have are people from different parts of the country. They've got different professions; somewhat different income levels, but what binds them together is a recognition that when companies pay their employees decently, give them decent benefits, provide them paid family leave, provide them with some workplace flexibility, that not only families benefit, children benefit, but businesses benefit and the economy benefits. That's what this Working Families Summit is all about."
The White House said the summit included businesses, economists, labor leaders, policymakers, advocates and ordinary citizens brought together to discuss policies that could improve families' lives while ensuring a competitive economy.
