American soccer fans held World Cup viewing parties across the country Sunday night to cheer on Team USA against rival Portugal.
Red, white and blue was everywhere.
From Columbus, Ohio...
NATS "USA, USA!"
To Chicago, Los Angeles and New York City.
Cheers erupted as team USA took the lead with only twenty minutes to go.
But in the end, Portugal came back with just twenty seconds left on the clock.
The final score two to two -- leaving many fans disappointed in Alabama.
"It was so, so perfect!"
"20 seconds, 20 seconds man...20 seconds!"
"I wanted to win it so bad!"
"I'm heartbroken, heartbroken."
USA will now go on to play Germany Thursday, and there's no doubt these fans will be back to cheer them on.
