Miami Heat superstar LeBron James will become a free agent on July 1st. He's exercising an early termination option in his contract, ESPN said on Tuesday citing his agent. The four-times NBA Most Valuable Player had until June 30 to decide whether to opt out of the final two years of his contract with the Miami Heat. He was set to earn $20 million next season under his existing deal. But his decision to opt now allows James to explore his options... Including, signing a NEW deal with the Heat, where he's played in four successive NBA Finals. LeBron James has earned two NBA titles since joining the team in 2010, after seven seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
