Rolling Stone voted it the number one rock'n'roll song of all time. And now it's also got the most expensive lyrics ever to boot. The original handwritten manuscript for Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone" has just sold at auction for a cool $2 million. Richard Austin is from Sotheby's. SOUNDBITE: Sotheby's Head Of Books And Manuscripts, Richard Austin, saying (English): "The previous record was a $1 million hammer, held by 'A Day in the Life' Beatles manuscript, so '60s lyric manuscripts are doing very well in the current market." Dylan's words were part of Sotheby's "A Rock and Roll History: Presley to Punk" - the auction houses first dedicated music history auction in more than a decade. Outside of Dylan's own enthusiastic fan base, there was huge interest in an Elvis Jumpsuit from his days performing in Las Vegas - that sold for $245,000. SOUNDBITE: Sotheby's Head Of Books And Manuscripts, Richard Austin, saying (English): "It was apparently his favorite stage jumpsuit and it was featured on the album cover of 'Elvis Live and in Las Vegas' and Elvis is another one that there are a lot of enthusiastic collectors for, so we're very pleased with that price." The total for all the sold lots was slightly more than $4 million. But this could be just the beginning - Sotheby's said they were testing the market. This may give them a sense of how music collectors themselves are feeling.
