Suck it up -- because these drinks are sticking around in New York City.
Former Mayor Michael Bloomberg's so-called "soda ban" has been rejected by New York's highest court.
The law would have stopped restaurants, movie theaters and other businesses from selling sodas and other sugary beverages larger than 16 ounces.
The Court of Appeals ruled that the local health board overstepped its authority in approving the regulation.
...Upholding a similar decision last year, when a judge struck it down just one day before it would take effect.
And without a blink of an eye, New Yorkers continue to sip their sodas.
