June 27 - The latest celebrity news including actor Shia LaBeouf arrested in New York and Lindsay Lohan works on another comeback. John Russell reports.

Actor Shia LaBeouf, best known for his roles in the "Transformer" movies did not enter a plea on Friday (June 27) after being charged with disorderly conduct and harassment. LaBeouf, 28, was arraigned on five charges in the tiny, packed courtroom at a Manhattan Court after being arrested on Thursday evening. The actor was taken into police custody inside New York's Studio 54 during a performance of the musical "Cabaret" after allegedly disturbing the performance and using obscene language. Former child star and tabloid talking point Lindsay Lohan is due to star in the West End production of David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow, according to media reports, as she continues a concerted effort to make a comeback, following years of controversy antics off screen. Lohan was once one of the most sought-after young actresses in Hollywood. She has been to rehab six times. Gary Oldman and other members of the cast of the "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" walked the red carpet on Thursday (June 26) in San Francisco for the film's premiere. Oldman made headlines this week for comments on Mel Gibson's anti-Semitic rant during an interview in Playboy magazine, plays the leader of the resistance in the film. "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" open in theaters on Friday, July 11, 2014. Tom Cruise was in Tokyo on Friday(June 27) for his latest film "Edge of Tomorrow." The story line of Cruise's latest film is based on a Japanese novel called, "All You Need is Kill" and while the film has produced marginally in the States, it has performed exceedingly well at the international box office. The film is due to open in Japanese theatres July 4th.
