A San Diego animal center gives dogs surfing and paddleboarding lessons so the four-legged pets can spend more time with their humans on the beach. Mana Rabiee reports.

Some things just come natural to dogs, don't they?. But especially a Southern California dog. In San Diego, these four-legged friends spent their Saturday getting surfing and paddleboarding lessons. The Helen Woodward Animal Center set it all up. They say it's meant to let the pups spend more time with their humans. SOUNDBITE: MINDY WRIGHT, HELEN WOODWARD ANIMAL CENTER, SAYING: "The thing is, dogs are part of our families, that's what we believe at Helen Woodward Animal Center. And they just want to be with their family all the time, so if you're out there surfing, if you're enjoying the beach, then they just want to be out there with you." Proceeds from Saturday's event went to animal care and outreach programs at the animal center. The dogs, though, they just want to catch the next great big wave...
