ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) President Obama is urging Congress to replenish the Highway Trust Fund which is used to reimburse states for their infrastructure projects. On Tuesday, Obama visited the Georgetown Waterfront in Washington, D.C., overlooking the Key Bridge, a heavily traveled bridge connecting Washington, D.C. and Virginia. Repairs have been made to the Key Bridge using money from the Highway Trust Fund. "If this Congress does not act before the end of the summer, the Highway Trust Fund will run out, there won't be any money there. All told, 700,000 jobs could be at risk next year." Obama says if Congress fails to act, he will continue to use his executive powers to advance projects that will help the economy.
