Shia LaBeouf is undergoing treatment for alcoholism, his publicist said on Tuesday (July 01). The actor's spokesperson said that LaBeouf has voluntarily sought outpatient care for addiction. LaBeouf was arraigned last week on charges of disorderly conduct and harassment after police said he interrupted a performance of "Cabaret" in New York.
Lindsay Lohan is suing the makers of the "Grand Theft Auto V" video game, saying it used her likeness without permission, according to a lawsuit filed on Wednesday (July 02). Lohan accused Take-Two Interactive Software and its label Rockstar Games of creating a look-alike character named Lacey Jonas who is involved in a side plot in which players must rescue her from swarms of paparazzi.
Jewel and her husband, Ty Murray, are separating after six years of marriage and 16 years together. The singer took to her website to make the announcement, saying that she and Murray have been engaged in a "thoughtful and tender undoing of ourselves."
Monty Python was resurrected in London on Tuesday (July 01) for what has been billed as the comedy group's last stand. More than 16,000 people packed the city's 02 arena for the first show - there will be 10 performances in all, with the last one, on July 20, set to be broadcast worldwide.
