Dutch national Joran van der Sloot, in prison for killing a Peruvian woman, marries his pregnant girlfriend from behind bars. Deborah Lutterbeck reports.

The bride --- in white arrives at a Peruvian prison holding Dutch national Joran van der Sloot, who is the main suspect in the 2005 disappearance of American teenager Natalee Holloway and is serving a 28-year sentence for a separate murder.
The two met while she was working in the prison selling candies and cigarettes. The bride, a 22-year-old local woman is expected to give birth to his child in September.
A local mayor attended the short service saying Van der Sloot was moved to tears.
(SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) MAYOR OF ANCON DISTRICT, JOHN BECERRA, SAYING;
"What Van der Sloot said is something that has stayed in my mind because he said, after I leave I would like to marry you again. She also said the same."
Conjugal visits are granted to all prisoners at the facility which is 14 miles outside of Lima.
Van der Sloot confessed to strangling, beating and suffocating 21-year-old Peruvian student after meeting her in a casino four years ago. He was sentenced in early 2012.
