The streets were alive with fury Friday night. Palestinian youths clashed with Israeli soldiers in the West Bank after the funeral for Palestinian teenager, Mohammed Abu Khudair. Enraged Palestinians say he was kidnapped and killed by far-right Jews. And now, a video shown on Palestinian television purports to show Israeli border police beating a 15-year-old American citizen. The Khudair family says the victim, Tareq, is the second cousin of the murdered teenager. And his father is disgusted: (SOUNDBITE) (English) FATHER OF TAREQ ABU KHUDAIR, SALAH EL-DIN ABU KHUDAIR, SAYING: "Why you hit a boy, fifteen years old, in this way? And you let him to stay in a police station from eight o'clock evening till one o'clock after midnight without any medical treatment? Why?" Israeli police said the incident occurred when six masked demonstrators were being arrested, some of them carrying knives. But the Khudair family says their son was merely watching. (SOUNDBITE) (English) MOTHER OF TAREQ ABU KHUDAIR, SUHA ABU KHUDAIR, SAYING: "Yes, it did go through my head that he could have been murdered like his cousin. But thank God, it was just... beaten..I don't what to say. I'm just still in a state of shock and I'm at a loss of words." Israeli-Palestinian tensions have grown after three Israeli teens were kidnapped on June 12 and later found dead in the occupied West Bank... Followed by the kidnapping of Mohammed Abu Khudair.
