A church becomes a makeshift weapons storage facility for rebels in Ukraine's Slaviansk, while bread is delivered to Lenin square. Gavino Garay reports.

Ukraine's military says it's found a weapons cache belonging to pro-Russian fighters in a Slaviansk church. During a search they discover soviet anti-personnel mines and modern portable air defense systems. (SOUNDBITE) (Ukrainian) SECOND RESERVE BATTALION CHIEF OF STAFF, ANDRIY, SAYING: "Thanks to cooperation with the local population we got to know that arms and ammunition depot is located in this church." Meanwhile, aid is being delivered to the region -- where one music teacher says another day of bloodshed is the last thing she wants to see. (SOUNDBITE) (Russian) MUSIC TEACHER, EUGENIA, SAYING: "We didn't need it. We were all scared when weapons were everywhere, even at the market. It was terrifying. I was born in 1942 on February 2nd, on the day of the battle of Stalingrad. And I have not seen such terror and genocide in my life. I think nothing similar to what we have seen here in Slaviansk happened even during the Great Patriotic War." Several hundred gathered here in Lenin square to grab a share of the food handed out by the Ukrainian army. The Ukrainian army recently regained control over the city that what was once the rebel stronghold, raising again the blue and yellow national flag.
