Israel arrests six people in the abduction and killing of a Palestinian teen.
Mohammed Abu Khudair's death has sparked violent protests in Jerusalem and beyond, opening an intense investigation.
A call echoed by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas who is calling on Ban Ki Moon for a UN investigation.
Some Palestinians believe he was brutally killed in revenge for three Jewish teens who were found dead in the West Bank.
A story that torments Khudair's father:
(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) HUSSEIN ABU KHUDAIR, FATHER OF MURDERED TEEN MOHAMMED ABU KHUDAIR SAYING:
"I can't express my feelings. Even if they arrested them, I'm not happy. They will not bring back my son. They burnt my son, they will not bring back my son. My son's blood is worth more."
At a closed-door hearing, lawyers argued that the Israelis are innocent.
Released from jail and put under house arrest, the second cousin of 16-year-old Khudair.
He says he was attacked by Israeli police for no reason -- seen in a video that is circulating through the internet.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S TEEN RELEASED FROM ISRAELI JAIL, TARIQ KHDEIR, SAYING:
(Q: "Why did they attack you?") I don't know. That's why I ran. (Q: They said that you were throwing stones") No, I jumped the fence and I tried to run away. Because I just saw somebody running at me so I tried to run away."
The Gaza flare-up began in mid-June during Israel's search for the teens in the West Bank and its arrests of Hamas members.
