At least 14 people including a number of NATO servicemen were killed in an attack in eastern Afghanistan on Tuesday.
confirms four of its soldiers were killed in an explosion
A senior police officer in the area says the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber on a bicycle in the eastern province of Parwan.
The police officer said six International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) soldiers along with two policemen and ten civilians were killed, but ISAF put the number of its dead servicemen at four.
A spokesman for the Czech general staff in Prague said the four were Czech soldiers and that another Czech serviceman had been seriously injured.
The police officer said a joint Afghan-ISAF team was in the area to investigate a rocket attack that had happened two days earlier when Tuesday's attack happened.
