Amateur video from Hamas shows what it says is an attack on an Israeli armoured vehicle on the border with Gaza. The Israeli military reported an incident in which two of its troops were slightly wounded but it's not clear if this is the same incident. It's not known when the video was shot. Hamas also released a series of clips which appear to show multiple rocket launches into the night sky. The video emerged shortly after militants fired their largest salvo of rockets yet on Tel Aviv since the start of Israel's Gaza offensive. These were the scenes in Gaza City early on Sunday. A series of loud explosions is preceded by the telltale whine of incoming fire. Gaza medical officials put the number of Palestinian deaths at 145 a day earlier. They said more than 80 were civilians and 25 of them children. No Israelis have been killed by the rocket salvos, partly because of the country's Iron Dome interceptor system. As the conflict rages on the United Nations on Saturday issued a statement urging a ceasefire. (SOUNDBITE)(English) RWANDAN AMBASSADOR TO THE UNITED NATIONS, AND UN SECURITY COUNCIL PRESIDENT, RICHARD GASANA, SAYING: "The Security Council members called for de-escalation of the situation, restoration of calm and reinstitution of the November 2012 ceasefire. The Security Council members further called for respect for international humanitarian law including the protection of civilians." The most recent hostilities erupted after three Jewish students were kidnapped and killed in the occupied West Bank, followed by the abduction and killing of a Palestinian teenager.
