Fifteen-year-old Cassidy Stay is lucky to be alive. She's the sole survivor of a shooting that left her parents and all four siblings dead. On Saturday, just three days after the killings, the town of Spring, Texas near Houston embraced Cassidy and honored her family. SOUNDBITE: CASSIDY STAY, SHOOTING SURVIVOR, SAYING: "I'm really thankful for all the people that have been praying for and keeping me and my family in their thoughts the past couple of days. And I'd like to thank all the first responders, nurses and doctors that have taken care of me. I'm feeling a lot better and I'm on a very straightforward path to a full recovery. Cassidy had a bullet wound to the head but amazingly called 911 after the attack to ID the shooter. 33-year-old Ronald Lee Haskell had entered the home looking for his former wife, a relative. He was apprehended after a four-hour standoff. On the path to recovery, Cassidy spoke of the family she's lost -- her parents, her two brothers and two sisters, aged 4 to 14. SOUNDBITE: CASSIDY STAY, SHOOTING SURVIVOR, SAYING: "Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light. I know that my mom, dad, Bryan, Emily, Becca, and Zack are in a much better place and that I will be able to see them again one day." First responders credit the brave teenager with saving lives. When she dialed 911, she warned police Haskell was on his way to another home to find more relatives of his ex-wife.
