Oscar-winning filmmaker Ron Howard is set to direct a documentary about The Beatles, which will focus on the early years of the Fab Four's career. The film will follow the band's journey from early performances in Liverpool to their last public concert in San Francisco in 1966.
It will also look at the development of the cultural phenomenon of the Fab Four's frenzied fans, which came to be known as 'Beatlemania'.
The film is being produced in cooperation with Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison.
