The cast of the 90s hit television show celebrates the release of a new blu-ray disc. Alicia Powell reports.

This just might be the holy grail for Twin Peaks fanatics - nearly 90 minutes of deleted and alternate scenes from the motion picture "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me," simply called "The Missing Pieces."
Show creator David Lynch reunited with cast members of the 1990 television cult mystery series on the red carpet in LA to celebrate the blu-ray release of the footage.
Actor Madchen Amick says the show was groundbreaking television.
SOUNDBITE: Madchen Amick, actor, saying (English):
"It was so innovative for television at the time, we really did change the face of television. David and (writer-producer) Mark (Frost) broke open the mold and I think that that's what the audiences wanted at the time, they were sort of really tired of the same procedural stuff over and over ."
"Twin Peaks," which is considered by many television critics as one of the top series of all time, follows the locals of a quaint town in the Pacific Northwest who are stunned after a homecoming queen is found murdered.
The investigation that takes place sets off an eerie chain of events with explosive consequences.
The film was the prequel to the television series and focuses on the seven days leading up to Laura Palmer's death.
"Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery" will be released on July 29th.
