A suicide bomber killed at least four people when he blew up his explosives just outside Kabul International Airport.
Police said three of the victims were foreign advisors whose nationalities weren't immediately known.
The fourth was an Afghan interpreter.
Witnesses said the blast also caused damage to nearby properties.
(SOUNDBITE) (Dari) HAYATULLAH KHAN, SHOPKEEPER, SAYING:
"A suicide bomber detonated himself inside the foreign compound. As a result windows of our shops and nearby houses were shattered."
The Taliban said it was behind Tuesday's bombing which came just days after one of the most audacious militant attacks on the airport in a year.
The airport is home to a major operational base for NATO-led forces but is also used by civilians.
